Overview
We standardized the use of Apollo’s sharing pattern across all relevant surfaces, introduced sharing where it didn’t previously exist, and layered in permission controls for better role-based access. The result: a consistent, scalable sharing experience across the entire platform that drives user acquisition.
Considering the end to end experience
When designing sharing, we also considered how users discover shared content. We introduced new filters that let users find objects based on who shared them.
Covering all states across all plans
From default to restricted, upgraded to limited. We designed a sharing model that supports teams, plans, and real-world edge cases.
Introducing a reusable component
We collaborated with Apollo’s design system team to build a reusable sharing component that any team can drop straight into their product flows.
